RALLY ON FRIDAY IN SUPPORT OF SPORTS FIELD FOR GORDON BELL As Canada Post is now suspending plans to build on the property adjacent to Gordon Bell High School for only a matter of weeks, students and the greater community will gather to implore the three levels of government, government and charitable agencies and the business community to live up to their pledged commitments to inner city recreation, to youth and to downtown/community revitalization. Community advocates are joining together with the goal to find a suitable downtown property for Canada Post to relocate and to make way for a legacy of health and wellness a newly created sports field will bestow upon Gordon Bell youth and the surrounding community for generations to come.
